I got through spells where I just don't have my normal appetite. I try to force feed myself but it's hard to get in the clean calories just to hit my maintaince intake.

Does anyone else have issues like this? If so, what are some things I can do? I read about a appetite supplement that is supposed to help out but don't know anyone that's tried it or if that would work?

I'm trying to bulk and need to be eating even more than usual. Please let me know any opinions will be helpful.

Shoooot I eat when I am hungry and that can be from 4-5-6 times a day.:eek:

I love food! espeacially when it makes you feel good.
 
SAME HERE

I go thru the same thing, sometimes eating less than half of my normal daily intake. All I can tell ya is doing morning cardio helps me some and drinking shakes cuz i just don't want to eat anything.
 
lba's rock decent increase in appetite for some people. i have a low appetite so they work freaking awesome for me. check into em.
 
First check your liver values. If fine, get Synthelamin. You won't have any more appetite issues.

yep may be an issue with the liver. I was a bulemic and anorexic 4 yrs ago and actually fucked my body up pretty bad. been to doctors about appetite and have tried many things. nothing has worked.
they thought that maybe my hypothalmus had gotten fucked somehow and it wasnt sending signals correctly for hunger etc etc.

so I just struggle through it, best things that have worked for me is, in offseason take in shakes. those u can force feed easy and u can make shakes with oat powders, oils, protein powders egg powder waxy maize etc. another thing that helped me alot is by taking absolutely nothing orally at all. no creatine, no pills, vitamins anyhintg.. then when hunger comes back I reintroduce them slowley. seems to work.

I dont know if u have a history of any meds but this could have been where ur problem came from also. in high shcool I grew so fast cuz I hit puberty late, that I developed two severe cases of ausgoodslaughter in both of my knees. doctors put me on 9 IB profeun a day for 3 years straight. and I think this is where it really fucked my liver up.

So no orals bro, try it. luckily for me the damage wasnt permant and its getting better and better every yr, so just take precautions and take time.
 
This is really getting me thinking... I can't remember the last time I truely felt hungry. I always have to force feed myself, nothing tastes 'good'. My doctors have had me on 500-1000mg of cipro daily (plus a few others added in occasionly) for about 10+ years. No doubt the appetite issue is from the liver?

Mines pretty enlarged also my values are always very high.

Liver values are all normal. I've never really been an eater even though my teenage years I didn't eat a lot. I was swimming on a national level somewhere between 6,000 - 11,000 yards, 5-6 days per week and I still was only eating about 2,500 calories on average a day. I'll look into synthelamin because I think that could be the thing to push me over the edge.

yah I have tried what the doctors have asked me to do. then I started taking matters into my own hands and trial and error. yep have done a few diffrent liver protectents, even tried a bunch of enzymes, b12 all kinds of shit.

one of the things that I think has also really helped me is doing bodybuilding shows. when u diet u are so deprived that right after the show your appetite is in full gear. since my last show I hadnt had any problems much at all. the year before last however I was at the doc alot and was force feeding all the time and somtimes would end up puking because I was force feeding.

so that may be an option also. diet down on a diet real high in protein so you can maintain muscle mass. then maybe 8 weeks later I bet you will be hungry as hell and gains would show.
