(remember this is just ONE reference article I am citing)
J Clin Endocrinol Metab 82: 1492-1496; 1997
The results were: 0.07mg/h men or 3.7 + or - 2.2 mg/d men; 0.01mg/h women or 0.4 + or - 0.1mg/d women.
Various authors stated that very few men produce more than 70mg of endogenous test a week; less than 10% . Most men in 20s to 30s produce 35mg-50mg a day. However, pls note that the bioavailability of exogenous test can vary considerably btw individuals, hence men on HRT of 200mg Test E. (or even slightly more) biweekly many times do not seem to have super SUPRA-human testosterone values! The bio-physiology is complex. Normal consensus in the medical community regard 100mg Test E or C per week or 200mg biweekly is very safe and beneficial to those with lower endogenous test levels. Even at this regimen though, libido can still decline in approx 3.5mo (not uncommon), typical etiology is due to an increase in SHBG secondarily from raised Estrogen. Thus, supporting estrogen control as appropriate. Hope this helps.
Cheers!
