Awesome new squat technique!

Looks like he will pull a groin muscle.

There's a really obnoxious guy at my gym who does this with 2-3 plates, which is some impressive balance.

The muscles surround his knees are HUGE. The rest of his legs are toothpicks. Looks absolutely hilarious and IMO is an excuse to only make a light weight more difficult, instead of actually increasing the resistance. You're lying to yourself if you think this kind of thing has any sort of merit. It doesn't even increase any aspect of athleticism. Unless you're doing a competition where you're squatting on a stability ball, it's completely useless.

I usually do these one legged, makes it a litte harder to balance though.
 
I'm trying to imagine the extent of the injury that one could sustain if they wiped out doing this.. I'm picturing the person falling with the bar above them, and then bouncing up off the ball, so instead of the bar just falling on them, they're accelerating back upwards and into it, and then falling back down with the bar landing on them..
 
I've seen squats done on balance pads before never a ball, thats just insane and only a matter of time before an injury happens
