What do you guys think are the most important back exercises? My fav is wide grip pull ups, with palms facing away from the body all the way up and down.

I really enjoy good ol' deadliftsfor smacking on good soild muscle on the back & whole frame. Then probally bent over barbell rows (Dorian style).

My favorites as well.

I use the overhand grip though.. I think Dorian used an underhand on the rows?

Yeah he does, I just seem to feel it more with a underhand grip. Just find it a little hard useing straps like that.

I loved doing rack deadlifts until before X-mas when I hurt my back doing them. I am staring them again next month. Now I am a big fan of dumbell rows and t-bar row drop sets

Nothing beas the heavy basics. I love rack deadlifts and barbell rows. Both add endless slabs of beef onto your back!

Deadlifts for sure..

Deadlift

gotta go with barbell rows and deadlifts. As far as goodmornings i did them twice a week when I was powerlifting. Nothing will make your low back strong like goodmornings, and as an added bonus they also work your hamstrings

deadlifts, wide grip pullups and close grip pulldowns (really seems to "lower" the lats a lot)

barbell rows never seem to do much for me...DB rows are also good
