Basics for big arms

What do you guys think are the basics for big arms?

I say barbell curls to start with. For tri's maybe french press supersets with close grip.
 
Barbells are like squats for the arms.....and I'd say either close grips or skull crushers.
 
I think the best way to big arms are the basics: Squats, Deads, Dips, Pullups. Does anyone know someone with big arms who isn't big all over?

plenty of guys in the gym have big arms and no legs...i see your point though and i agree with it

To me it seems that MOST people in the gym have big arms and nothing else.

BBJ, do they actually have big arms (19 plus inches) or do they just appear big because the rest of there body is underdeveloped?

|--[\\\]>---------- I believe the key is variety. I dont always do heavy curls, i'll switch it up, do dif. exercises, maybe one arm workout will be all heavy exercises and next week, lighter, more reps and forced reps. Always keep your body guessing.
 
Stimulating the different fibers with a variety on reps and excercices will defenetly help build bigger arms...any muscle for that matter.
