Before and After - Bodybuilder to Physique and Getting my Head outta my Ass!

Hey all,

Many of you remember me. I was a young, stupid 19 year old that was headed down the road of being a mass monster. I had an offseason weight of about 270 and felt like utter crap.

My point of posting this thread is to share a few new pics from my most recent show. I made the switch to men's physique. It was a tough pill to swallow, but I wanted a more natural look and feel that my look now is much more aesthetically pleasing. The point here is to show the contrast between the photos.

First pic is me at 260 at 5'9 in 2008 and the others are after my most recent shoot about a month ago.

Happy to be healthier and have a better outlook now. I had the genetics to be a monster, but I wanted live past 50 and be there for my wife and family. I am 25 YO now. **broken link removed**

Physique is always blasted because it's usually a bunch of unseasoned idiots. Just recently are you seeing a gravitation towards the larger guys. Hell, I came into the Idaho Cup at 192 at 5'9 and won it

Honestly, large bodybuilding physiques only really physically appealing to people interested in bodybuilding. I think your current state is much more aesthetically pleasing, I also believe the general population when comparing the 2 would agree.

I've been following your posts and progress for a while and you look great dude. This is what a "physique" competitor should look like. The problem with the physique in the early stage, was that you had people who had purely a decent chest, abs and some arms. Now its evolved into being symmetrical.
