So I just picked up a bag of this Beneforte broccoli. The difference between it and the regular stuff seems to be that this has been cross-bred & hybridized to yield higher levels of glucoraphanin....which apparently can boost our body's levels of antioxidant enzymes.
The long and short of it, is that this stuff has higher levels of some of the nutrients that make cruciferous vegetables healthful.
On the other hand, I'm thinking, did broccoli really need improving upon? And is this one of those GMO vegetables that is supposedly unhealthy?
Here's the website: Beneforté® ~ Home
