Franco's rear lat spread was truly something in his day. Many have come after with much thicker/wider/more defined backs but Franco was truly a freak.

i'm surprised i'm not seeing much love for Haney in this thread. Before Ronnie & Dorian, I'd go with Haney & Samir as having two of the best backs before the mass monsters came along. Another great back not mentioned yet was Brian Buchanan (competed in the 80's out of England).

Haney's front shots were made all the better because of those draping lats tapering to his waist.

Fux back was enormous. He had several “WTF” body parts. But he loooked smooth n kinda puffy. Yates on the other hand got grainy dry and shredded he Had a different look entirely.

Jackson's traps look like two snakes crawling into his skull. I agree with MAGAoperator that if he had better legs and calves he could have won or at least done more damage at shows. He had enough mass to hang with the big boys while still having arguably one of the best midsections.
