Someone had to have put some time and research into this subject. Figured maybe this might save me some reading. Has anyone on here looked into this? I have digestive issues as well as lactose intolerance and am looking to test this route to improve it......

I would consider Kefir over Greek yogurt personally.

I tried one brand, I think chobani or whatever, it was like eating cream cheese.

I'm lactose intolerant yet I can eat a ample amount of greek yogurt with a single GI/digestive issue. I just get the Kirkland brand stuff from Costco myself.

I make my own kefir from organic grass fed raw milk. Easy, just add Kefir grains to milk let sit for a couple of days at room temp, stir occasionally with wooden spoon and strain trough cheese cloth.
Great base for my whole food shake!
I'm not sure where I read this but raw milk is supposed to be more tolerable for those who are lactose intolerant.

Stonyfield farms brand has helped me tremendously with my overall digestion, including my lactose issues.

Like renewlyf said, try to find some raw milk. I have personally seen someone who was lactose intolerant star drinking it and was able to eat cheese, where it used to give her indigestion before. The stuff is amazing.

Kefir is definitely the way to go for lactose intolerance. Make your own from raw milk if possible. If not, store bought is fine. The Kefir grains feed off of the lactose, making is near lactose free.

I have serious lactose issues from whey, milk, goats milk, and chocolate, but I seem to be find with Kirkland greek yogurt from Costco. I can also handle cheese just fine which I don't quite understand

the probiotic content of conventionally produced yoghurt is a joke.

Take VSL3 probiotic. Will aid in your lactose issues, but at the end of the day, if you can do without dairy, do without dairy.
