Just wondering if anyone has had this procedure ?

I’m going for surgery in a couple months and I will likely be getting this done.

Also, what can I take to speed up recovery?

For recovery I’d take 2mg TB-500 e3d’s subQ and 250mcg BPC157 daily injected near the wound site, and 5ius HGH upon waking.

I had to actually get my bicep tendon reattached about 10 years ago. I used a product called Liga-Tend put out by Country life I believe to help speed up the recovery. I would that (If it's still even available) along with some TB 500

I had mine done July 2017 and kept to the PT schedule religiously but added my own exercises as the PT seemed very conservative.
Do you know exactly how they are repairing the tendon? A hole was drilled in my radius and the tendon along with some sutures were fed into the hole and a button was secured at the bottom. The goal is for the bone to grow around the tendon making it more secure than before.

Yes that’s the same procedure for the tenodesis that I’ll be receiving except the will be reattaching the tendon to my humerus in the bicep groove at the shoulder. I’m just hoping not to permanently loose too much strength or mobility since I will be altering the anatomy of my shoulder.

Avoid bench pressing or any movements that cause pain. Even barbell curls, do slide curls. BPC 700 mg directly into muscle and 2 mg Tb 500 per week. Take a break after 6 weeks.

I think 700mcg BPC-157 is more than necessary. 250-500mcg worked fine for me. I would never bench press again. Bench press, inclined bench press, and barbell shoulder press are what messed my rotator cuffs up. I stick to hammer strength machines and fly machine now, usually one arm at a time with very slow reps.
