A good friend of mine (really a friend; not a way to ask a question about myself), 44 years old and former professional athlete, has been diagnosed with significant atrophy of his biceps tendon on his right arm.
Initially (4 months ago) he experiences a small tear on his forearm when doing biceps curls, but all MR and other diagnostics confirmed that this has healed since -and it was a small tear to begin with.
The pain has not gone away, however, and when they now checked the biceps tendon they find nearly 50% atrophy of the tendon on one side versus the other side. The doctors have almost no suggestions as far as true solutions, so he is looking into peptides.
I know peptides have been discussed and a lot of guys gave valuable suggestions, but I want to hear what you think is best for the SPECIFIC SITUATION: no tear of a tendon, no muscle injury as far as docs can tell, severe atrophy of biceps tendon on one side.
I am thinking TB-500 and BPC-157.
What do you all say? Dosages, duration?
On a separate note, do you think eccentrics with semi-heavy loads will help?
