blood test results

i am currently taking 150mg test cyp per week and justgot blood test results back and im not sure of the terms also im in the uk if that makes any dif? they are hb 17.6/dl, wcc 12.8, Pl 250, neu 9.7, MCV 95, HCT 0.527, ESR 1. i dont know if anyone understands this but now been told im having a jak2 test, i didnt think this amount of test cyp would cause much elevation in rbc etc but does anyone have elevated results just from HRT dose? thanks in advance for any responses, rich.

oh yeah just remembered my TSH is at 7.7 at moment but doc doesnt think this is related, im starting to realy worry now!

Everyone's response to HRT is different. My hct level has always been high even without gear. Get the other test done and see what the results are before you panic. You could also go donate blood. That will drop the rbc's and hct levels but you need to do it every 2 months.

thank you very much for taking the time PB, wanted to talk about it here as doctor just says "come off" i just thought more people would of also been in my boat i have searched the site but still good to here more oppinions, thanks again.i wish there were more posts like emerics on low doses and healthy supps etc,i think people get silly with the more is better way of thinking.will reread the posts on giving blood doesnt giveing blood every couple months put a strain on the immune system?

can you just ask to get certain things tested for no reason, like liver kidneys test and estogen levels, thryroid, LH , ?

It really doesn't matter where (what country) you get the lab work done. When the cheif pathologist, or whoever is in charge of specifying the test procedure, sets up a panel he will also have to include the expected normal range for each test. Many times that range changes with age. All that info is available to you.

For example, if your wcc at 12.8 is the same as my wbc, my latest lab result was 4.5 with an expected normal range of 4.0- to 10.5. And my rbc was 5.14 with an expected normal range of 4.10-5.60. This is all completely off HRT for 6 months. When I'm on HRT my values goe up. wbc = 4.9-8.2 and my rbc = 5.3-5.74. So my rbc does get out of range.


Being out of range is not always necessarily bad. But you need to be more informed so you can make better decisions.
