BLOODTEST/Low insulin??

My dad is on HRT and is taking 100mg test cyp per week and 1.2iu's HGH ED. He has been on this for over a year, and his recent bloodtest came back great with the exception of "fasting, insulin" The range was 6-27 and he was 2.8 Whats this mean?

well I know a low blood glucsoe level when fasting could possibly be a sign of hypoglycemia or diabetes. alcohol can also cause low blood/glucose levels, but you said he was fasting so that's probably not a factor. Is he getting further test?

He called the dr, and he said its very good to be low. It means he has no sugar in his diet and has no chance of diabetes. They said even if its out of the scale, since its lower is better.
