If its refrigerated it should last a long time, far longer than 30 days.
If its not refrigerated, then it'll probably lose potency fast
It’s also assuming it’s being used by diabetics using it more regularly, traveling with it/keeping it out of the fridge.Expiration dates usually have little to to do about potency.

The diabetics i know that use it don't carry it around with them. They leave it at home and use it there.It’s also assuming it’s being used by diabetics using it more regularly, traveling with it/keeping it out of the fridge.
Profit is certainly a driving factor i would think. As a businesses job is to make money. They are not there to be a charity. But making sure there is no way liability will bite them in the butt is another way to make profit.I’m convinced expiration dates are used as a money making scheme
