I'm currently cutting, and I'm so damn bloated from the Broccoli, Cauliflower etc. I just can't digest that stuff anymore. Which really sucks, because I love the taste of them, they were my staples for cutting down!

What are your favourite alternatives?

zuchinni, squash, green beans, jalapenos, bell pepper, onions

Switch veggies. Those can cause bloating/gas. Others can cause less. Just depends on ones enzymes that they produce. As the years go by i have to adjust my foods.

For an easy one, a can of French cut green beans drained then add water to the can and drain again mixed with a big can of tuna. Sometimes add some fat free shredded cheese and heat it up with red hot sauce and it’s pretty damn good

Here's an alternative: salad, zucchini, spinach, tomatoes, Chinese cabbage, peppers, beets, cucumbers, you can also try potatoes and eggplants - just watch for individual tolerance.
Fruits - blackberries, blueberries, cranberries, grapefruit, strawberries, cantaloupe, grapes, bananas, kiwi, papaya, peaches in syrup.
Steamed vegetables/fruits.

I only eat carrots from a can, salads and apples/bananas.
Most veggies, not a fan... I do like Asparagus though..

Honestly when carb cycling I've been a bit fan of mushrooms as of late. Saw a little clip of a guy making a "Lions Mange Steak" actually turned out to be pretty darn fantastic. Cucumber salad with some vinegar and tomatoes also has been a godsend for me.

I love Green Beans. Always have a couple bags of it in the fridge. Boiled spinach is pretty good too.

I buy the $1 bags of frozen peas and carrots from Walmart and add 2 bags to 2 cups of rice and cook it all at the same time in a rice cooker. I don’t really like veggies at all but this helps me sneak some into my diet

I'm a sucker for canned seasoned collard greens. Margaret Homes or Glory brands. Great when lightly sauteed but I'll eat them straight out of the can with a fork. Low cal and pretty filling for a side dish.

My personal favorites are asparagus, bell peppers, and zucchini. I can do carrots but they have to be cooked, canwt do raw.

Do you think if you took a pre and probiotic before eating it would help ?

I'm big on fermenting foods. It's like a hobby. Always have some kimchi, sauerkraut, kefir/yogurt (dairy), and some others going. Good for the gut, keeps bloating low. (for me)
