Complex drug testing question

The following is completely hypothetical:

Someone is taking both AAS and CBD and goes in for a work drug test, and there is a false positive result for THC due to CBD. They send the sample to a lab for GC-MS analysis. Will they just be testing for cannabinoids, or could the AAS show up on the GC-MS?

I understand they won't be testing for AAS originally, but am wondering if it could show up via subsequent GC-MS analysis?

As a former lab tech for a mental health & addictions center they will test for drugs not aas.

I hope you know a lot of the cbd out there has about 3% thc in it. So it’s possible for it to test positive for thc.

Great, thank you! The cbd I use is from a reputable brand and made from cbd isolate, so I hope there is not thc in it.

You sure got that right & most people don’t see the may contain up to 3% thc. Because it’s usually on the website not on the bottle.
