i was wondering if anyone knew that if when an individual stops lifting for an extended period of time (2-3months) and they drop some muscle mass if there connective tissue also loses size that is gained from heavy lifting and if it does would the connective tissue regrow faster to its size before lifting was ceased than before.......... kind of like muscle memory?

Not lifting for awhile weakens your connective tissues.

I'm thinking that because it takes longer to build connective tissue, it probably also takes longer for it to atrophy.

Remember that it's denser than muscle tissue & has much lower vascularity.

It doesn't pump fluids around, so there probably isn't a "muscle memory" effect happening.

I'm NOT saying to jump back into heavy weights etc, I'm saying that you probable have lost less connective tissue strength than muscle strength.

YOU must read your own bodies signals...
