Thanks to the folks who provided advice and suggestions along the way.
I managed to bring home a 4th place in the Mens Masters Div of the VA/DC NPC State show. For a 44 year old natty I was pretty pleased with my final condition.
My front quads never really hardened up - not sure why. From the side my legs were lean and hard.
Patk also did this show and he looked very good for his first contest. He was in a tough class where the overall winner came out of.
The guy who won the GrandMasters Div also took 5th place in a very competitive open Lt Hvy Div - so for you "senior" members - hang in there it can be done!
