Costochondral Separation

i did that same thing squating in oct of 2004. i was getting back to going heavy after a little break after a show and i tried to go heavier then i was ready for. on the 6th rep it seperated. i was straining to hard and my form must have been sick. anyway i could move much for about a week. i stayed on all my supps and then did whatever i could in the gym that didn't cause it to hurt. about 4 weeks after it happened i could do about everything but i did high reps w/ light weight. sets of 20-25. i was still able to make gains w/ low weight workouts. i did double impact stuff, 8 sec reps ect. it took about 3 months before i started a heavy training cycle. i'm sure staying on all my supps and eating a lean bulk diet helped it heal faster. if i justed stopped and layed around all that time would have been wasted. good luck.
