Craig Richardson in Battle for Olympia

Im sure plenty of you have watched the new battle for the Olympia....It made me laugh how Craig Richardson looks at the camera and says " I HOPE YOUR ALL WORKING THIS HARD FOR THE OLYMPIA CUZ IF NOT THEN IT AINT GONE BE PRETTY"...Then he goes back to his 405 lbs smith quarter squats and barely squeezes out 10 reps...Its no wonder why Ronnie cant be beat...even I was doing 405 for 10 -12 true reps on smith 3 weeks out from my last contest, and thats at about 178 lbs....Anybody else see that..

and......its a counter-balanced smith machine making the true weight closer to 365

Never even heard of this guy sounds like some of the new competitors well a couple 2-3 who are hyped but small like amatuers calling out the big boys. Have to look him up must not be hyped all talk. But then again as long as he looks big bad who cares about strength I believe vince taylor was known to not be strong but was awesome. MM

Checked out his site. He looks good, but he's far off Cutler and Coleman. I know everyone likes Coleman, but IMO I think Jay is better. I realize Coleman has a little more thickness, but his mid section & stomach seems to be getting obtrusive. Then again, I'm not a judge so, maybe there is a valid reason. Does anyone think Jay will ever win it?

Yeah Jay is the next Mr. O. But he has just a very small weak part compared to coleman his back. his back is big wide etc but his muscles seem shaped different than colemans so they do not stick out as much. MM

Yeah just checked out his site he seems to be pretty good. Seems way ahead of some of the other new pros. Should do well in a couple of years. MM

Agreed. Coleman's back does "pop" compared to Cutlers, but he did make alot of improvements to it for the 2005. I hope he takes it this year.

Yeah Jay will be the next Mr. O. He should be now in my opinion. I am not taking anything away from Big Ron, but Jay is just alot tighter than Ronnie in his mid section and has better wheels. Ronnie's wins the back because he has the hanging lats like Dorian and has Jay in glutes too. However, Jay made HUGE improvements this past year and will do so again for 2006. The one to watch this year will be Branch Warren! This cat is only going up! Got the nastiest set of wheels I've ever seen...

I'll have to look for this on DVD.

Dude who cares how strong he is? This is bodybuilding not powerlifting. Whatever he is doing to build his body is obviously working as he's a pro competeing at the Olympia.

Very True...But the main point I was making is that he is calling out everyone as if they need to lift as hard as him when he wasnt doing anything mindblowing....
