That makes my back hurt just watching you. I had a spinal fusion in 2003 from bad form on dead lift. I say bad form, doc said it was genetic weakness in my vertebra.
 
Just to clarify my last post was not criticizing your form, it kind of reads that way.

What I like is you did it in the bottom rung of the power rack......when i see someone make an exercise as hard as possible to perform....I know that guy is hardcore.

I love those! Ive been doing them for the past 8-10yrs instead of regular deadlifts, strictly a back exercise with little or no legs involvment.

i like it right below my knee...i actually use the top metal step of this plyo box we have, its like 3 inches high.

i was gonna take some pics this weekend to see where im at. ill def post a few.

Nice form and big weight.

Question out of curiosity, are you below average height wise or are the pins in that power rack just really high? Its is weird to me that using the first pin puts it slightly below your knee cap. Or maybe Im just skewed because Im tall and pulling from the second pin at my gym puts the bar slightly below mid shin.

great deadlifting

my back was a little crampy tonight for some reason. i thought id be in the 10-12 range. im around 227. decided not to do the usa's, im gonna do a local show and then the nats.

Those were strong deadlifts good job.. looks like you are fairly lean too..so contest prep should be a breeze..are you still working with Fakari... I have nothing but good things to say about him..really cool person. I have a friend who does figure and he is his prepping her for several upcomming shows...I can never forgot how shredded he was the year he won his pro card at the USA... he was in good shape for the NY pro last week too.. I felt that he should have placed higher ( I was at prejudging)
