Dexter DESERVED Third!!

Gustavo looked great, but IMO Dexter far outclassed him. He had the total package: size, cuts, symmetry, vascularity and that "classic" look that few can match.

What do you guys think, do I need glasses or was Dexter screwed??

I was there for pre-judge and finals. Thought Dex deserved at least third.
For conditioning he is #1 Structurally probalby #1 as well. The O seems to be a size contest so Dex should have been number 3...

He looked great but put him next to Ronnie, Jay, and Gastavo and they outweigh him by an average of what, 50+ lbs? It's a freakshow. Also, seeing the pics of Gastavo I think it was a well deserved top 3 finish!

i thought dexter deserved 4th.. badell loked great and i have a feeling that he will start to really make a showing in the up coming shows.. after looking at the pics, i thought badell had him in size and the conditioning appeared equal.. good for him.. i am sure dexter will be back and making waves as usual.. but, badell may be giving him a run in his spots..

i agree.. dexter is a great champion but, there are guys coming up who are able to get into great conditioning but, also have the size.. dexter will need to add some size to not be overshadowed in the lineups.. dexter alone on stage is awesome.. standing next to someone like ruhl, coleman, cutler ect , he tends to get "lost" so to speak.. another 15 pounds would be great as he is the type that will be able to keep his waist and muscle shape.. only time will tell//...

Yes and no. Yes, he is the epitome of a great bbuilder. Keep it up, and he'll be one of the greatest, like Ray, or Flex. Now if the judging is based on size giving a significant slant to all the other categories then it must be consistent. Which is why I can't understand how Ronnie can be number one (no argument if it's all about size and conditioning) and Ruhl can't come close. Nuts.

Now if they won't give Ruhl a top 3 cos they say he isn't aesthetically pleasing or in certain categories he scores poorly, the same MUST be true for Ronnie. Useless debate probably.

As far as bbuilding goes, Dex is great and maybe he can add more mass, or maybe he wants to wait for the winds to change when he comes into his own. He really dialled it in this O and he shouldn't be disappointed with being equally the best bbuilder up there, but maybe not the biggest. IronMike
