This is in the pic forum, but I thought it deserved some special attention so I'm posting it over here too.
9 months between pics. Waist went from 48" to 32"
Now THAT is some serious work and dedication.
Well done, my friend.
But he looks so tired and drained ion the last pic.......stressed out almost
He is! That guy on the right is trying to change his body, build a business and lead a family. Probably sounds really familiar to a lot of you guys on this board... Lots to do and think about other than making a transformation...
It hasn't been easy, and it hasn't always been fun... I set a goal when deciding to work with Shelby that I'd do a show in 1 year. Apparently Shelby took it seriously.
Awesom transformation D.C.
But really, there is not anything wrong with the guy in the first picture either.....he looked good before
Didnt say there was anything wrong with that guy....just that im sure dropping his bodyfat significantly will help with his overall health in the long run.
Thats neither here nor there, this is a bodybuilding board and physical transformation is what its about.
Of course it is............but let me ask you this.......is it ok to like the guy when he was bigger? Is that ok here? As far as over all health...............now YOU KNOW what it takes to change like that.......if you dont I do because I talk to the kid every week..........we have no idea how healthy that is.......thats real now come on
I smell what you're cookin Phil, and I appreciate your concern. I really do. I also value your advice, and your no bullshit, straight to the point, honesty. You've been there and done that, and a lot of what you say makes a whole hell of a lot of sense.
That guy on the left however was an unhappy, drunken fool...

I hear what your saying...its the double edge sword of 'getting in shape'...you love it and hate it at the same time.
I guess being a chiro of course i alway think of spine, knee, ankle and foot long term health as well since i see the detriment everyday.
I constantly get emails from this guy, his wife, and his Mother, telling me how thankful they are for helping him take control of his body and his life.
I know that might not be as cool as being Mr. USA or whatever, but I'm pretty geeked about it.
Diesel, Hell yea man! Keep it up! We are very proud you have stuck with your goal. Looking "good" is not EVERYTHING. Living "healthy and a better life" is everything. I started working with Shelby NOT BECAUSE I WANTED TO LOOK BETTER BUT BECAUSE I WANTED TO BE HEALTHY. But man I like it and keep it up. Where is your show going to be located?
