I take glutamine 5g while cycling, no creatine. When off cycle-I use
15-20g of each. I need the effects to be stronger when I go off
for gainskeeping, thus the reason to do little or none while on, effects have not been downgraded already from constant use.
Honestly-Ive heard no proof that creatine or glutamine downgrade, but just in case And I know if I do 20g creatine/glut after a break, I will get results-and I need them at that time (when going off cycle).
If it were me, I'd experiment and see which works best for ya, after all, what works great for one guy may not do squat for another...and that is true with just about ever substance, gear included....we're all our own guniea pigs in this game...lol....personally, I use creatine at about 20-30g per day during the first 4-6 weeks of a cycle, and also the last 3-4 weeks of the cycle, and for an additional 3-4 weeks after..BUT, I also use insulin during that time. Glutamine I've never tried, but as much as Mike raves about it, think I'm gonna give it a shot this next go around.
Well Geoffke...to each his own, I only know what works for me. Glutamine has never impressed me from what I've personally seen from my training partners, but like I said everyone is different so I am willing to try it. As far as the other BS you said, like I said, I do what works for me, and for me, creatine/slin work excellent when I use them in conjunction with an oral and my other gear to both kickstart a cycle and to end a cycle as a gainskeeper.
And no, you don't absolutely need GH for slin to be effective, at least I haven't hit that point yet. Another point that everyone is different, most also say to avoid fat like the plague when using slin, but I don't have a problem with it causing me to get fat either so I don't follow that advice either.
I use it 10iu's upon waking before my first meal of the day (which always has fat in it). I use 10iu's pre-workout and drink a carb/vitamin drink while I'm training, then I use 10iu's immediately post workout, which I follow up with some kind of protein/carb/vitamin drink, then a big fat fast food meal about a half hour later, then I use another 10iu's pre-my evening workout and follow the same pattern outlined above, for a total of 40iu's/day.
Because I gain an average of 20-30+ pounds on a full blown bulking cycle and my bf has never been higher than 15%, does it mean that if you do exactly as I do it will work the same for you???? Well, the answer is NO, but it also doesn't give anyone the right to say "You're doing it all wrong" either.
Besides all that, if you know so damn much, why the hell did you post the question in the first freaking place?????
