does anyone else have this problem when buying clothes?

Today I nearly died trying to find some jeans to fit me, my waist has gone to size 31 but my legs are like tree trunks and they would fit, even the baggy jeans looked tight. So I tried a 34 but this time the waist was way too big.
The reason Im asking is because out here in Turkey they dont seem to cater for guys that work out. Do you have the same problems in your countries?

The staff were shocked at how small my waist was compared to my legs.

Wolf, Ya I kinda have the same problem, I have a 33 waist and have to wear 36 loose fit jeans, the waist is a little big but the leg and butt area are just right. By the way Turkey is a beautiful country spent 4 months in Adana back in 92.

Just take your jeans to have alterations done on the waist. Almost any Dry cleaners will do it.

Is there any particurlar make of jeans that would suit us? Stay away from 501's is a start as its only for people with skinny legs. I have a pair and like a dickhead, I baught it size 36, its the only way it would fit through my legs but it sags at the buttocks and my wife laughs.

I heard 509's are better, and I know gasp has some nice jeans for big boys too. Any other ideas?

I have to buy pants with waist 40, to get my legs fit in.

I really hate when I go through the safety check in airports, where I have to take my belt off. Then my pants will fall!!!

My problem is the length. I'm only 5' 7" and to find a pair of paints baggy enough to house my legs, only someone 6' and over could fit in them. I usually find myself wearing workout pants or shorts.

I got the same problem bro, my waist is about 32-33 offseason and it's always a bitch to find jeans that have room in the glutes and quads. I have to get my jeans at anchor blue and get the big baggy style with 36-38 waist.

Yeah bro, Im a bit old for that now. We used to do that when we were in college and at that time it was cool to act like a black dude, it was the "in thing". People would laugh at me now for wearing that and plus those pants are heavy!

you can get the ones that looks like regular jeans with no writing or design on them and they look fine. Its pretty much just a better waist to thigh ratio.
