I really like the style of training Sean Sherk and Vanderlei Silva have. Sean chooses the gas mask and Wandy does the snorkel.
I had to help sand, stain, and finish a floor this week at work. We had to wear masks for the fumes that covered our mouths and noses. Within 5 minutes of just gently squatting down and applying with a brush, I was pouring sweat and my body temp was CRAZY. I'm almost ready to buy one from my boss to put in my gym bag and experiment with 20 minute sessions.
Anybody have any insight on how doing cardio like this could benefit or harm the bodybuilding process? Even if it burns off energy to the point of endangering muscle, wouldn't it really be good for the heart and lungs?
We do so much thinking about diet and training, but cardio always seems to be an after thought. I've never been to the point where "being at (x) weight" makes me feel unhealthy because I've always done active work or BJJ. Don't wanna get there and I don't wanna run out of steam when I go back to BJJ.
