Well last night I took my 2 boys to their first concert, Motley Crue with Hinder, Theory of a Deadman, and The Last Vegas. Even though I have always been a clean cut, jock type, I always loved classic hard rock, classic heavy metal, and 80's hair bands. My son's from an early age, heavily influenced by me, like all of the same music. This was my 2nd time seeing Motely Crue, the first back in 1984 they opened for Ozzy on the Bark at the Moon tour. I thought it would be a great way to spend the evening with my sons and what a great band to see for ones first show. Since it was their first show I also gut pretty good seats on the floor, not far from the stage.
Here is a few of us ready to head out and rock.
In the arena, tickets in hand. My one son is wearing a vintage "Gang Greek" shirt from 1996. My other son went with the Guns and Roses.
Here is the band Hinder, I recongnized some of their songs. I thought they were pretty good. The lead singer came out into the crowd and got about 3 feet away from us. My son however choked under the pressure and couldn't get out the camara in time. Maybe my screaming "Get the camara out!" had something to do with it.
