Well last night I took my 2 boys to their first concert, Motley Crue with Hinder, Theory of a Deadman, and The Last Vegas. Even though I have always been a clean cut, jock type, I always loved classic hard rock, classic heavy metal, and 80's hair bands. My son's from an early age, heavily influenced by me, like all of the same music. This was my 2nd time seeing Motely Crue, the first back in 1984 they opened for Ozzy on the Bark at the Moon tour. I thought it would be a great way to spend the evening with my sons and what a great band to see for ones first show. Since it was their first show I also gut pretty good seats on the floor, not far from the stage.

Here is a few of us ready to head out and rock.

In the arena, tickets in hand. My one son is wearing a vintage "Gang Greek" shirt from 1996. My other son went with the Guns and Roses.

Here is the band Hinder, I recongnized some of their songs. I thought they were pretty good. The lead singer came out into the crowd and got about 3 feet away from us. My son however choked under the pressure and couldn't get out the camara in time. Maybe my screaming "Get the camara out!" had something to do with it.

Theory of a Deadman and off course "The Crue"

Theory of a Deadman. I thought this band was really good and I really enjoyed their set.

Cool! Those are some fun pictures, T.

I'll bet you guys had a blast! Are your boys twins?

I'll bet you guys had a blast! Are your boys twins?

identical, but they hate to look alike, so one grows his hair and wants to be a rocker.......the other an athlete, and loves sports.

First concert!! I bet they had a blast!! They will ALWAYS remember that. Great shots! My first concert was seeing Chicago :D ;)

mine was one I was not allowed to go to...but it was Van Halen, Boston, and some Outlaw band in North Carolina...I was too young to go, but went with friends anyway.

WOW! Looks like fun! That is awesome quality time........:D

I have to wait for jonas brothers cause I only have girls..........lol;)

Looks like a great time! I was security for them back east in 1986, when the played back east. It is funny how are kids like these older bands. My son loves classic rock.

AWESOME pics bro!!! I remember my parents taking my to Jimmy Buffett for my first concert ever. We had a great time and I'm sure your boys did as well. Thanks for sharing!

Awesome!

80's hair metal is THE SHIT!

Nice, passing the torch to the boys, I love it!

great pics! and holy twins batman, your sons are "DEAD ON" each other!!

Great pics!! I bet your son's had a great time jammin with their dad!

Great Post! A Crue show is not a bad way to start. Great seats too!. I worked security in the late 70's early 80's and got to meet most of the great bands, it mostly treasured times to be sure.

Dangkolo: LOL on the Jonas Bros in your future.:p

I was there too.

Some not so clean images on the tv screens. Other thn that those guys really rocked.

Motley Crue is one of the best live rock bands in the world. I have seen many shows and they never fail to put on a great sounding show. They were just in my area on Feb 11th, but I didn't go. Wish I would have now.:(

WOW! Bet that was fun as hell bro..sure looks like it!

That is F@ckin Awesome! First concert yet, it will always be remembered! Everyone asks at one time or another "what was your first concert?". They can say "The Crue"... SWEET..
