I really like this guy. Been following him for some time. Recently I've had some BP issues and just started his Bayer/Lisinopril/Bystolic/Crestor regimen today

I like him too. I believe I posted this same video before. I find it very useful.

How many miligrams of crestor are you taking? Do you have cholesterol issues or are you taking it for prevention?

I know Dr. O'Connor uses crestor at low dosage, but I do no think he's ever said how many mg he uses. I've been interested in this as a preventive measure even though my cholesterol levels are very good.

My cardiologist prescribed the Crestor at a very low dose of 5mg. I'm using it as a preventative only. My cholesterol is in pretty good shape. Dr O'Connor never mentions his suggested Lisinopril dosage either but my Dr. put me on 10mg day and 5mg of Bystolic daily. I'm currently having high BP issues right now but once it get down and under control my physician is going to cut the Lisinopril back to 5mg. For me its about getting the best effect with minimal amounts of medication.

That's great you are being proactive and are trying to stay healthy while keeping sides to a minimum.

My blood pressure has been really making me feel bad of the last few months and I finally took the stance enough is enough and went to a cardiologist. I have some family genetic risks too so I wanted to get on top of things quickly.
Currently he has me on 5mg of Crestor daily. If I could get by with EOD I would certainly consider it. Something I may run by him on my next visit.

One thing that I am very happy about already is my blood pressure readings.
At the beginning of the week and for the past month I was running 170-190 systolic and 90-100 diastolic. All day yesterday my average was 135/70 and so far this morning the same thing. Quite a drastic improvement. Hopefully I can continue in that same direction.

I heard Dr oconnor charges so much more than visiting even the best nyu langone physicians. Not sure why he charges so much more. I mean a little more would be reasonable. You gotta be loaded to be a patient of his.

I couldn't afford him either. The last time I spoke with his office it was $495 for an hour consultation and lab work. Who knows what follow up and maintenance visits could end up costing but I'm guessing it could get expensive.

I've had every test known to man done and nothing ever definite. I have a mild case of left ventricular hypertrophy which is common in athletes so my initial diagnosis is 'Hypertensive heart disease'. There has been a correlation between my bodyweight and increases in blood pressure. Once I go past a particular weight my BP spikes whether its lean weight or fat. I do have a family history of blood pressure issues and I have an extremely stressful job that often I think is the culprit. I had these problems well before I ever touched an anabolic and often my BP was at its worst when I was on absolutely nothing. Up until November 2017 I went years with perfect BP on no medication at all. Its been a very confusing and frustrating journey.
