I just took 3 oz. of slivered almonds, placed them on aluminum foil, sprayed them with extra virgin olive oil and baked them at 400F for 10 minutes. Filled me up, killed my craving for junk food and tasted great. Admittedly I did lightly salt them too. You don't have to and you still get that oven-roasted flavor.

Great a idea Tom. I like to dash on some buffulo hot sauce and bake them.

Sounds tasty Tom, thanks.

p.s.

why not also sprinkle some paprika on them just after they are done in the oven. This way it sticks to every almond. Paprika is high in Vitamin C. Over the winter months it's a good way to help boost up your immune system a bit. Paprika also has nine times the amount of vitamin C as one tomato.(weight for weight) Make sure to choose the organic or sun dried. Stay away from the commercial processed kind. Paprika is also a big help in digestion and a even bigger helper in blood circulation.

I'll try that tonight!

Thanks for the great suggestion Boom.....I love paprika, much healthier than even a little salt.
