ECA for muscle sparing effects

I have decided for the time being to lay off of any hormonal products, and was wondering if the muscle sparing claims for the eca stack are substantial.

I am 195-200 pounds 34.5 inch waist and 17.5 inch biceps. I would like to be able to drop my waist to 32 inches and keep my arms at 17 flat. With proper dietary precautions, is this resonable to acheive in a 2 month period, or would i need something with stronger anti-catabolic effects
 
Eca will release too much cortisol bro, its defenetly catabolic. You dont need cortisol.
 
I wouldn't use clen either, it is catabolic in man. I would just use bcaa's and protein, and maybe some phosphat....
 
BCAA's

I think BCAA's are worth looking into. They are relatively cheap and are essential for both muscle growth and preventing muscle loss while dieting. I dug up a great article for your consideration. It's a tad long, but contains some really good info about how and why these aminos work, especially for your specific purpose. Here ya go :) :

thanks guys, yeah I know all about the cortisol problem.

The irony is you realistically need to increase cortisol to get ripped. From what iv'e read(and it makes a lot of sense) when cortisol is elevated your body begins to store fat around your organs, if you are in a caloric deficit it needs to get that fat from somewhere, It gets it from in the muscles(intramusular triglyerides) and the sub-q fat stores under the skin. While organ fat is dangerous for health reasons and it does give a "slight gut" it is far more aesthetically pleasing then under the skin fat. you can't go from smooth to ripped with out increasing cortisol. That is why it is so insanley rare to see a true endomorph at the higher level of competition. As the bodyfat levels decrease so will the muscle at a equally fast rate. You really have to be naturally lean to begin with.

I have never tried bcaa(supplemental), but have always been intrested, as leucine aparently signals the muscle to grow on a transcriptional level, It may stop muscle loss when in a caloric deficit, by tricking the muscle into thinking they are recieving what they need to stay alive
 
BCAA levels in the blood stream rise during muscle breakdown, so if you supplement, the body thinks muscle is being catabolized for energy. The body takes the abundance of BCAA's as a signal that muscle protein is being used for fuel and will seek energy instead in the fat stores. It is theoretically possible then, to gain or at least maintain muscle mass during a calorie deficit. Maybe ECA combined with BCAA would be something to try out, as the BCAA would blunt muscle loss from excess cortisol. Pretty cool stuff. :cool:
 
I'm going to start Eca soon along with my diet, cardio and LBA's. I was also curious as to what else i can do to hold on to mass
 
try some of the products that USP labs makes. they are very good and do what they say. Super Cissus(great anti-catabolic), Powerful, and anabolic pump are all good products. stack these with some LBA's and you got one hell of a non hormonal stack.
 
WTF?!! I've never lost anything noticeable while on Clen nor ECA. If anything, I felt stronger. You shouldn't loose anything unless your diet is catabolic.
 
Why do some of you guys say ephedrine and clen are catabolic? Never seen evidence for this. Ephedrine has been shown to be anticatabolic.

Albuterol is another alternative, which actually showed muscle size increases in one study.

TY I'm with you here. I have used both extensively and for good periods of time while preping for shows. The only thing I ever lost with eca or clen was BF. and yes it is ALL about the diet.
 
BCAA's are readily available on ebay in bulk for a good price, around $60 a kilo as opposed to buying from a store at $60 a bottle! If you get a cap m quik machine you don't even have to deal with the awful taste(leucine is disgusting, has made me puke)

It seems like the never ending battle of getting through to certain persons...That DIET is THE KEY in a most cases.
 
I agree with most on this. I dont think ECA will do anything for sparing muscles.

As far as Clen it has been shown to be an anti catabolic over a period of six weeks or more. There are some good articles talking about the possible effects of using Clen PCT and for muscle sparing. I have tried it and it has worked well. Of course it kept my body fat levels down and I was also on other Serms and Aromotase inhibitors. But I kept the muscle. I also was eating lots of protein and taking alot BCAA before and during workouts...

whats been said here is of truce to it but really u only need to lose 8-10 lbs to achieve your 32inch waist so if u put your diet in check i believe youll be on your way. 2 mths is a long time and if u drop 1 1/2 lbs a week your really n
