How many of you that are married are actually glad you got married?

I'm engaged, and am having serious second thoughts! I realize every circumstance is different, but nonetheless, how many?

very happily married for 2 years now, together for a total of 10.

I'm just not sure i want the whole big house and white picket fence thing. I'm not sure if i'm called to marriage.

lived together for 8 years before making it official, she had a child. i think the key is to live together for awhile before you jump into anything.

I never used to think so, but now after having lived together for only a month. I will always reccomend it 1st!

Day I got married i had no job, just got out of a 30 day sint in a county jail, living with my parents, growing pot in 4 different houses and a 5x felon with a drug problem

2 yrs later, all legalmoney from finally holding down a job,ive got a 5 acres and a house worth $260k I only owe $160k on, $30k invested in Ball Pythons, great job and a new family that really gives a shit what happens to me. Still drink to much beer but im working on it.

My wife is the best thing that has ever happend to me and i know youve heard that 100x but for me its true. Once you find the right woman there will never be any doubt. Ive got just as many friends that are married happily that are miserable. It has to be the RIGHT ONE AND YOU HAVE TO MAKE IT WORK!

I get hot chicks coming up to me all the time now that my wife has cleaned me up but they have no shot at all. My wife is my soul mate and until her i never understood what that meant.

Without knowing all the circumstances...if you're having second thoughts don't do it or wait. IMO there should be no doubt that it's what you want and want to do. To answer you ques...I'm married for 8 years...together for 10 with 3 young kids and I wouldn't change anything.

I will be married 10 years this August. We lived together for a little over a year before we were married. I think you really need to live together for awhile so that you know as much about your mate as you can learn. We have two little girls now age 5 and 3 1/2. Only thing bad about our marriage is the sex life. That did go downhill significantly after we had kids. I sometimes miss how it was when the two of us were just dating, we had an incredible sex life. Now its pretty much nonexistant. After being married awhile though, you change your priorities and other things begin to take priority over the sex life.

Yeah, ive been married 2 years and we keep it to once a month. Trying to not let the fire burn out......and porns help! haha

That really is the only part that sucks! I walk around ready to jump anything that moves 29 days out of the month and cant! Even when they are trying to jump me!

LOL, yeah it seems like once you get married, women start to flirt with you more than ever. Maybe its just how we perceive it though, because we are so sex starved! This has never been a problem for me though.I would never be unfaithful to my wife. Must admit though that I do have the occasional fantasy about some of these women, but no harm done in just thinking about it.

I think you know right away if that person is the right one for you or not. I was engaged to a girl for about 6 years and the whole time it just didn't feel right. I was listening to everyone else and letting them convince me she was the one.

I finally got the balls to break it off. A couple months later I got reaquainted with an old friend and knew right away she was the one. 6 months later we were married and that was 5 years ago.

I hear ya about the sex life maldorf....thats the ONLY thing I complain about!
