While I see a lot of people using EFA's for cardiac health I use them for additional calories in my diet.
I can't stand flax seed oil, it makes me nauseous in a shake several years ago I read about Dante's recommendation of olive oil and that has worked perfectly for me-I use a lot of OO.
I usually cook my omega III eggs over medium in OO, fry chicken in it use is in marinades and salads.
that aside I injest some walnuts ED as well as some omega III peanut butter and mayo. Pure flax oil makes me sick as I said before but the OO and flax oil products mentioned above are OK.
Fish oil also makes me blaaaaaah and interferes with my appetite so I don't use many that way.

What are your choices for the oils that you guys frequently use??

I use all the above but lately for my middle of the night meal I have been eating a huge handful of diamond smokehouse flavored almonds and a tablsp. of flax....lol...I can still horse it down even though I am getting to gag stage with flax...

I also use MCT oil for cooking as well......I really like that even though its Parrillo old school....lol..
 
Man Parillo cost me $7000 back in 1993 I lost my tonsils because of cap -tri.
Too much fat and boom relux etc.
 
Flax oil and extra virg olive oil. i use flax oil on my eggs in the mornings and will mix a tblsp in my shakes. I do not mind the taste. OO for all my cooking. Almonds are the better choice for snacks because they are the highest natural source for vit E. Peanut butter.................well what do say here except, when do you stop eating PB????:D Love the stuff.

I read Arnold used to eat mayo as well.

How much do you eat daily and what time of day would you recommend?
 
walnuts, almonds, cashews, olive oil. i need to add fish oil.
 
Udo's oil, Macadamia Nut oil, Omega eggs, Natural PB which now comes with added flax if you want it, Avacados, Raw almonds. Vpx makes a product called Thin Fat which looks awesome but I have yet to try it.
 
I'm using both Olive Oil and flax oil which helps with constipation and even helps with some joint pain, and I take in some fish oil pills.
 
Raw nuts are a gtreat way to get extra calories wit the majority coming from fat. Plenty of EFA's in them. No roasted nuts, they don't have the nutrients that way.

ground flax seed sprinkles on various foods (add iodine to your diet if you do this as the hull pulls iodine from your body)

olive oil

avacados (has 10x the potassium as a banana)

Ooooh? Very cool. I know of several guys who love natural butter...even eatin' it precontest...hahaha...like a half jar per day.
 
Here is what I have a lot of my clients use for healthy fats in my diets:

Udo's Choice oil blend
Olive oil
Walnuts
Almonds
Peanut butter (natural)
Almond Butter
Mixed nuts
Avocados
High fat fish such as salmon

personally , i like it as well , But from a nutritional point of view >> it totally sucks, because it got a little to many carbs , for getting in , a good serving of fats . just my 2 cents

Olive oil, nuts and Carlsons fish oil(lemon flavor)-give this one a shot it tastes awesome,no fish taste at all, and doesn't repeat for some reason. Regular fish oil caps always repeat on me-taste like I've been eating a mackerels' ass at 8:00 in the morning-not good....
 
Almonds, Flax Seed Oil (I dont mind the taste, I can just straight up drink it haha), Olive Oil, and sometimes walnuts. The rest of my fat I get is from meats and what not.
 
udo's oil is the best for balance

hemp for improving skin quality

i cook in coconut oil for mct

olive oil for other stuff

I however feel that fats from nuts and seeds do not get absorbed that well, ie i seem to feel the benefits more when using oil it's self and adding it to good food. I add udo's to tuna, as a meal when cutting down.

efa for me have been the best discovery in the last few years, I enjoyed reading UDO's book and learning just how important they are for the functions of the body. On the whole I feel so much healthier since using them seriously in measured ammounts.

I eat the omega 3 mayo too, and peanut butter

usually eat it as a pro/fat meal with made from chicken or fresh tuna.
