Estrogen this high should be a crime

One of my client just got tested.

They ran this test twice..

What your guys thoughts?

First time, he was running aromasin 3x week at 25mg

2nd time when I saw his first estrogen results, I had him run letro for a week then he went and retested

And here’s the results.. wtf is going on?

That's an estrogen not estradiol test

This test has cross reactivity with a ton of stuff including trenbolone but also phytoestrogens, BPAs and steroid metabolites may also flag.


This is the completely wrong test to run.


Always get LC/MS estradiol, sometimes know as estradiol sensitive or ultrasensitive test.


Avoid total estrogen test and ECLIA estradiol for maximum accuracy.


We want to test for estradiol, the most potent estrogen in the body. Example, E3 aka estriol is something 10,000 times less potent than estradiol AKA E2, so even high estriol levels are not very "estrogenic". Estrone aka E1 is also a much milder estrogen, something like 1,000 times less potent than estradiol if i remember the numbers correctly.

This is total estrogen. It includes all the estrogens in the body. I would think that his masteron is really eq. Because eq will read as e1 on bloodwork. I’ve had my total this high (3500) while ultra sensitive was 60. Total estrogen is normally on a female panel. I’m not sure how a lab would benefit from label mast e as eq but maybe it was a mistake

I don’t believe it will be read as E1. I’ve had panels that show all 3 estrogens (estrone, estradiol and estriol) while using EQ and my estrone came back <50.

I know it’s been hypothesized that EQ csn aromatize into significant amounts of Estrone in some people. If that’s the case, then it might potentially explain that total estrogen figure. If the masteron is actually EQ.

Yeah, i mixed up my numbers. The numbers i used above are %. So 10,000% and 1,000% respectively which is how i usually explain it to people.

I just wanted to link to the data. Your main point still stands. Estradiol being order(s) of magnitude more potent than other estrogens.
