To me the tournament has been pretty crap so far. It's not so much the underdog countries kicking ass... more the bigger teams are under performing. But I think things will only get better and there have been some good moments.

Makes for a more interesting tournament imo. I'd like to see someone other than Spain or Germany win something!

Yes that was great. My gf's family is Spanish but I was made up when Croatia scored at the end.

Croatia has been playing very well for a very long time. Those midfielders are just sick. What's his name? Modric, I think. From Real Madrid. Awesome player.

Spain's greatest generation is getting older. It's a great team still, but put some serious pressure up there on the field and you annihilate their "tiki-taka".

In just a couple of hours we'll have Argentina x USA for the semi-finals of the "Copa América Centenária", most important tournament of the Americas. I'll root for the USA, obviously.

Who are you guys supporting? I am curious how many Euro guys we have on here. The US guys who are you wanting to win? When the World Cup is on I always hope the USA do good. Not just because of my many friends on here but I used to watch the MLS when I was a kid and supported DC United... not sure why I just did. I used to love watching Macro Etcheverry and Eddie Pope etc. I see tonight Argentina have beat them 4-0 which is a shame.

It would be good to see England do well but we are crap

I most enjoy watching Germany play and don't mind if they win it. It was good to see Switzerland get through and they definitely have a chance against Poland to make the last 8.

I know you guys will say WTF why doesn't he root for his national team (France), but honestly we've been playing like crap since the 2006 World Cup final in Germany after Zidane, Viera, Makelele and most our best players ended up their career... watching "les bleus" on the field these days is just a damn chore... ZERO CREATIVITY.

So far, Croatia and Wales have been the most pleasant to watch IMO... Bale/Ramsey/Allen, now that's a seducing trio!!! :headbang:

I've been a fan of the German team since they hosted the WC in 2006. A little technical for some but great teamwork, no egos, no superstars and very efficent (true to cliche).

Kinda disappointing the Netherlands aren't there as they're always a fun team to watch, no Robben, Van Persie, Sneijder etc. Wasn't following the qualifications but what is going on with them?

I was hoping that playing at home could make up for the lack of tradition. But Argentina knows how to step up their game when they need to.
