On the left is Cathy Lefrancois

Middle is Alicia Harris... Figure pro

And shelsea Montes Bikini pro

Personally I know Cathy and love her look. Shes 5'2" and about 140lbs. She is top of her game right now.. She is no big freak by any means but surely is coming in hard lately. She lives here in Southern calif. She helped me prep for my first show 8 years ago.

Alicia Harris was smoking hot at the Cal pro figure and placed a controversial 6th place in her pro debut after her class win at the TU.

Shelsea won the overall at the Junior USA...

honestly.. i would love to come in somewhere between Cathy's look and Alicia's look which is the first time i have ever even thought that after seeing a figure competitor.. that girl does look great though. does she place well? figure from what i have seen is leaning towards the softer girls

I prefer the one in the middle, displays both hard work, diet, and lifestyle commitment while maintaining the female look! The bodybuilder displays all of that too, but just takes out the female look out of it to a certain extent (but respect the hell out her). The bikini division, is the hot girl who chills at the pool every weekend and gets her 3 days in a week at the gym and watches her diet enough to get by, not impressive to me...there are so many of them out there that could walk right off the street and do it. Competition is about displaying lean muscle at its best showing all the hard work and discipline!

Thanks for your posts Sadie and Lenny.. . I agree with both of you.

Cathy is awesome .. Shes not a big girl in person. With a shirt on and covered up.. she looks like a very fit bodybuilder, year round.. She does not have big structure.

The girl in the middle Alicia Harris.. wow.. I thought she was going to really throw a curve ball in the placings and take a big win. She seemed to dominate that pro figure show,, in my opinion.. but.. like you mentioned.. they went for a softer top 5.. she placed 6th.. I was sitting front row and was very impressed. She has great looks too.. She just smiled for like 40 minutes with no problem...

She has great abs, nice legs, and nice shape.. I really like that kind of look for figure.

Cathy LeFrancois looks great seen her at the NY Pro and she won it second year in row.

I thought she was from Canada.

I thought she had goo balance and shape and facial appearance still had feminine qualities. She was not the biggest, but looked the best to me . I have some pics of her from the show.

My wife likes the new bikini class. She does not have the best genetics to probably get in the shape of a figure class and does not wish to hold as much muscle as some of the figure and differently not the female bodybuilding class.

She likes the idea she at least as a chance to maybe compete at the bikini level.

Cathy is unbelievable, hard work into that body. Alicia gets my vote, I like this look and not a soft figure. Shelsea is hot, but too me she is more of a beach girl and does not look like she works out much. Don't get me wrong, I like her look, but she does not belong up on a BB stage.

I think Cathy LeFrancois is awesome and like you said...in person she's tiny. But what a terrific physique. I am glad she's looking so good lately.

That figure girl....right there is what I consider to be the perfect look for figure....I think that look takes dedication. She's lean and separated and obviously trains hard. In clothing....no one would be able to tell she looked like that.

The bikini girl....she's got a nice body, an attractive girl, and I hope that's where all the softer girls who compete in figure go in the future...in my mind that's one thing that makes me happy about this new bikini division. Maybe the judges won't be inconsistent in the placings. A soft girl wins...and then in some shows a girl like this one you pictured wins....how in the heck does a girl know what to do?!

In my opinion "figure" is a place for girls who want to lift hard, diet hard and display a feminine physique.... without loading themselves up with drugs ... a place to compete.

Alex....I think its a bummer that they placed that figure girl in 6th....she's awesome.

Thanks for your posts everyone.. Cathy is from Canada but lives in the los angeles are and has for many years.. her English is very French...Shes cool as hell too.

About Alicia Harris.. To me, from what i see.. shes not your typical figure girl.. She stood out big time at that show.. She has more muscle than most.. She did not place accordingly to me.. but there are a few factors here... It was her first show... and she was probably considered to hard for figure...go figure?

Cathy in my opinion is one of the few women bodybuilders that for the most part still look feminine. I have always been a fan of her physique, Like you said Alex she looks normal in clothes. hehe! The figure girl looks great as well. I say to each her own but I am not to sure about the bikini stuffs. I think they need more criteria of what the finished physique should look like. But hey it's all still very new, look at womans BB and figure are always changing......

the looks are completely different alex. To me, and i do not mean any offense to ANYONE by this but when i first opened the thread, i thought the bikine division pro looked like a stripper more than a competitor.

This is not a knock, she looks amazing and i don't mean to take anything away from her , just my initial impression.

I like looks of both Cathy and Alicia. I've always thought Cathy had a great physique and she seems to just be getting better. Alicia has a look that I think is awesome for figure!

Alicia Harris, looks fantastic! Great abs, just phenomenal.

Shelsea Montes also looks good to me, she does have a softer look but looks way better than your average girl on the beach, she definately works hard in the gym, just maybe not quite as hard as the first two, maybe not as heavy. Never-the-less she does put in her time as well.

This is a cool post seeing all three side by side, good idea.

Well, this girl, Valerie Waugaman was winning figure and she's not gooey.
