FINALLY RAW MILK IN NC

I read an article in the local paper, that Raw Milk will be legalized in North Carolina! Although there will be grey dye in it, and it will go under the name "Pet Milk." I am very excited! It has been a long time since I have had raw milk, we got rid of dairy cows a long time ago, and I hope it will come to local stores before I start my bulking!!!

what are the benifits of this milk when bulking. i live in Australia and have seen it. hope this is not a stupid question

There is a thread about raw milk somehwere on here but i'll sum it up the best way I know how. When you pasteurize milk you heat it up to the point where it kills the bacteria. Problem with that is that you're killing all the good bacteria as well. If im not mistaken a certain amount if not all the protein during this process is denatured. Which is basically messing up the secondary and tertiary bonds of protein, both these bonds give the protein its structure and function. So basically the way I think of it is, is that if you destroy these proteins your destroying the main purpose they are used for. Now you will still get the protein from the milk however, but IMO you will not get the same effects as the protein would have given you in the raw state.

When I read the thread on "RAW MILK," that Phil had started. I believe Phil had said there are actually growth factors in it. Which I can believe since cow milk's original purpose was feeding their calf.
