First Competition

Well guys my first competition went pretty well i thought i was in the novice middleweights which ranged from 167lbs-187lb, i weighed in at 169lbs. i placed 4th in that class the 3 above me were all 185er and jus alot bigger obviously. i was also in the mens middleweight opens and that went to 176.4lbs and i place 5th in that. the guys who beat me were just more experienced and they were in there 30's the overall winner was 40 and this dude was a monster at 176, it was cool to be next to guys like that. that shit inspires me. there was 14 competitors in my novice group and 12 in my mens open group. i was pretty happy with everything my places, and i had an absolute blast i wanted to post this because a few of you guys helped me out alot like kdtl61 and brabus, thanks alot guys. here are some pics hope they come out big enough for ya

I've never had the idea of competing before, but lately as I get in better and better shape I'm starting to think that I have the genetics/body shape to do great things. Soon I'm going to post pics of myself here and put my ass on the line and see what some of the big guys on this site think. Hopefully I won't be crushed.

thanks guys sorry i didnt get back to you sooner i was on the road coming home, but yess that was the mr buffalo contest the guy who won the overall was in my middleweight open division he was on point with everything, he deserved it but im happy to bring home two trophies for my first competition now its back to the drawing board and figure out when my next one is and back to training 2m. hopefully someday phil ill be where you are. i want to be an ifbb pro soooooo bad.

Great job Bears for making it all the way to the stage. Top 5 in two classes for the first time on stage again shows you were ready. I'm sure you learned alot this past Saturday with posing etc. Just keep working on "bettering your best" That is the rule I have always lived by. You can't do anything about who shows up to a show. Only how you show up to that show. May the best dawg win.
