Hey fellas, I will start off the new year with my first cycle ever

Current Stats :
21
6'3 220
15% BF
Training seriously for 2 years

I know you all will say im young, but I believe Im ready to take it to the next level. I have all my gear ready to fire so please dont try to talk me out of it.
I will be "running" :p the following...

Cycle :
Weeks 1-12 / Test E @ 250mg Every Week
Weeks 1-13 / Aromasin @ 12.5mg EOD
Weeks 5-13 / T3 @ 50/75/100 then tapered off
Weeks 3-12 / HCG @ 250iu every 5 days

PCT:
Weeks 13-16 / Nolvadex @ 40/40/20
Weeks 13-16 / Aromasin @ 12.5mg EOD
Weeks 14-16 / Clen @ 100mcg/day

Work :
Mon - Chest, Triceps, Shoulders
Tue - Off / Cardio+Abs
Wed - Off / Cardio+Abs
Thu - Biceps, Back
Fri - Off / Cardio+Abs
Sat - Legs
Sun - Off

Training Days : Med Carbs, low fat, high protein
Cardio/Off Days : Very low carbs, low fat, high protein
My diet is 100% on point 6 days a week, with Sunday being my ONLY cheat day (carb load day). Im extremely serious about my diet, and I never stray off.



Goals :
Im trying to drop down in bodyfat and pack on some extra lean weight for this summer. Cardio sessions are kept at a 45min maximum, and never too intense.

Please let me know your opinions in regards to my first cycle! :)
 
Yes, you are too young, otherwise looks decent to me. I wouldn't mess with T3 unless you are prepping for a contest - more than 2X replacement amount will really eat away at your lean tissue (your peak is 4X). Some will disagree with the HCG.
Also - a bit much for the ab training IMO. Can't really wave a magic training wand over your biceps and say "get bigger" then do the same thing to the abdominals and say "get smaller". If you have figured out how to do this, let me know and we will both be rich beyond imagination.

I've done clen/t3 cycles and I've came out fine. From what Big A has
mentioned, T3 shouldn't eat lean tissue if your protein intake is high.
I think ill keep it at 50mcg thruout, since I've read T3 at low doses
doesn't cause catabolism, and actually helps with extra protein synthesis,
especially with the exo test. I don't care who disagrees on the HCG, from
all the research I've done HCG is best used during cycle to prevent
testicular atrophy and make it easier to recover once I come off. It simply
makes sense. That's why I stop it 1 week before my last shot, so my natty
test production isn't hindered. As for the ab training, why do you say its too much?
Is 2 days a week plenty?
 
Hey there jimmyjones... very very happy you are going to keep the test at 250 for your first "run" This way u can see how u react...

only thing i dont get is if your diet is 100% on point, why do u have a higher BF% then ud like?

did u just start to get your diet on point? Im not trying to be a funny guy.. ive always had problems with keeping my diet in check... sometimes i go for whats easy, then whats right... but thats why im here and working on that!! :)

Your diet isn't as good as you say it is, or you would be leaner. Taking t3 will not resolve that. I have never taking t3, and I stay lean in the offseason. Forget about any cheat days, until you drop more BF. Why take any Aromasin? Did you get a blood profile done? Do you know your total test levels? At 21 you have alot more than you know. I disagree with HCG during cycle, take 1 week after last shot. Interval training for cardio at 30 minutes will be more effective than 45 min of moderate cardio. I personally wouldn't take clen, can cause occular migranes, not a pretty site. ECA stack is better, Tyrone sells the best. I wouldn't train abs 2 days in a row, if you are not feeling them the next day, train them harder. 2 times a week works and Diet works better. 2 years of training and already taking the plunge? I was young like you too, so I understand. Too get leaner you might want to do cardio 4-5 days a week. Post your Diet, that would help alot.

First off, at 21 years old and working out, you should not need ANY cardio to get below 12 percent. Your abs should be showing or your food must be way off. So at the very least you should focus on learning how to eat for your body type before you start a cycle.

Well actually I was a lard ass that used to be 275 and dropped down to 220 in the past 6 months. So lets just say my diet has been on point 100% for the past 6 months... When I started training, I lifted very heavy and didnt care about my body fat. But in the last 6 months, I said to hell with this and I leaned out considerably.
 
8AM : 5 Egg White Omelette w Ham + Low Fat Cheese

11AM : Can of Tuna Sandwich on 2 Pcs WW Toast / 2 Scoop Protein Shake

5PM : Ground Turkey / Vegetables Stir fry

6PM : 45 Min Weight Train / 30 Min Post Workout Walk , 50G Waxy Maize PWO

It looks like a good healthy diet, however I personally would tweak it. Switch the last 2 meals around(casin protein before bed) Trade the sirlon for salmon(no healthy fats in your diet, except tuna) 6 pm include 1 scoop of whey. 5pm 1 scoop of whey and a peice of fruit, in the morning I would get rid of cottage cheese and 2 slices of bread, replace with oatmeal and 1 oz of almonds or walnuts. Replace the low fat cheese with non fat., Make sure the ground turkey is super lean and the ham. Of course each body is different, but you should be leaner following even your diet, providing you don't have cheat meals and been doing it for a while. Keep a journal of your diet, it will keep you honest. www.fitday.com of free of charge. Also would be good to post pictures.

I have to have 1 cheat day though boss, or else I will eventually go crazy. If I allow myself that ONE cheat day, its like a reward for myself for the weekend. I love all kinds of food, so I stay in a good mood if im able to allow myself only one day to cheat. Ill pick up a tub of casein for my night shakes. How much more expensive is a salmon filet compared to a steak?

Go to Costco for salmon(if you have one). I would only reward myself if I reach my goals, of course that is me, I do not have cheat meals, because I am serious about my competing in a BB show. We are creatures of habit, you heard the saying "you are what you eat" if you eat clean all year around, eventually you will desire cheat meals less. I am an old guy at 48, I tend to want to think more about my health now a days and love to stay lean.
 
jimmy why not take all the guesswork out of it and contact phil hernon. you spent 4 times as much on drugs as it costs to have him train you for a year. he'll set up every last detail for you. and it really doesnt get any better or easier than that.

I a only going to address your diet and your comments about one day of cheat food. It's like this. You either want the look you are chasing or you don't. What are you actually rewarding here??? Bad behaviour? what you eat good for on whole week and that warrants a reward? Please!!! Grow some balls, nail the diet for 6 weeks then have a good hard look at your results. 1 week and you have to have a cheat meal??? I am not having a shot at you but there are seasoned competitiors here that diet for months on end with no cheating because we know what it takes to achieve the look we want. Show some will power and do a decent eating plan for 6 weeks. Then see where you are!! Trust me, you will not go crazy, you are just weak in the mind is all.
 
oldfella. people who apply an excuse to not do whats necessary are never going to realize theyre goals, and to compound that will blame an outside factor. you will be argued with all day about why one cheat day a week isnt bad. when guys like Aeliop, Heinz, Dusty....etc will go 20 weeks without even a single cheat meal. and never complain about it. you either have excuses or results. there cant be both. besides isnt it about time you went along with your namesake and let one of us younger guys bang our heads against the wall trying to get through...lol

just wondering...

if your diet is so in check now that you are making that great of gains why not keep it up and see how far you can take it natural? Congrats on the weight loss already...id keep it up till you hit a wall, then maybe think about cycling, or as tkav said, hire someone like Phil to take you to the next level.

Old Fella, I completely agree!

When I first became serious with my diet, I knew what I wanted and pushed myself very hard to achieve my goals. Yes, the first few weeks are challenging, but once I stopped using food as a comfort tool, things became quite easy. I now enjoy eating extremely healthy; I get creative in what I prepare. In the last 9 months, I have only had 3-4 cheat meals... (Anniversary...Thanksgiving....Birthday...) even then, most of my friends and families would not have even considered it a cheat meal.

Now that my diet is in check, I have seen better results in the last 9 months than I have seen in my entire bodybuilding career.
 
Ill take your guys word for it, ill get rid of the cheat day and stick to my diet
thruout. I will begin this cycle in february, cuz i wanna lean out even more.
Hopefully by the end of Jan, I will be 12-13% BF. I will be on my diet 24/7. The
reason im taking the plunge now is, because my training partner, who is also
my best friend (also same age and basically same stats, just shorter by 1 inch),
put on some serious muscle with just 250mg/week and I am envious of his
gains. Its kind of like a pride thing, and i feel I have to play catch-up. I know its
sorta silly, but it is what it is. We are both very competitive, but its good and healthy
competition. He's also been wanting me to juice up, so the pressure is also there.
I researched as much as possible, so i can jump into this as safely as possible.

First of all, AAS is not going to get you leaner. Most guys at your age are just puffy on AAS (water weight), don't mistake that for quality gains. Good quality muscle growth takes time, sometimes years. Are you easily influence? I can see that you are a follower and not a leader. You only have 2 years working out, give it time. AAS is not the answer, it is your diet and training.
