First time self glute shot missed by 4 in will it be less potent

Fisrt time givein myself an injection used a 1 and half in pin. Missed proper area by 4 to 5 inches. Will it be less effective? pushed needle in all the way in. Hope i didnt waste gear

As long as you got it deep into a muscle you'll be fine.

I had a similar question a little while ago about missing the area, but i was worried about injecting IM materials SQ. That basic consensus was it would NOT waste any gear, but you get the problems of not getting deep in the muscle, such as lumps.
