Only time will begin to heal the wounds but they'll always be there to some degree. I lost my dad 3 years ago and there's not a day goes by that I dont think about him.

thank you all very much...this has been the hardest 4 days of my life. after all the water bloat was gone, my mother didnt weigh more than 80lbs. seeing her in that state, made me go crazy..in fact i was given drugs. this was the only way they were able to calm me down. ive cried so much, i dont think ill have tears for the next 3 years. i walked into my mothers room, and everything stilled had her scent. her bed, pillows, sheets, her purses, clothes..everything. but i paryed, and i asked her to help me get through, and she seems to be doing just that. after a week of not sleeping, i was able to sleep last night, and after 3 days of not eating, i was able to eat. nothing will ever replace her spot in my heart, but i know she will always be with me, and she will always watch over me..and that is what i need to be able to make it. again thank you all, i needed to read this today...CJ

Bro im so sorry, you had to see your mom leave this world that way.
And i know, there is nothing anyone can say to ease your pain right
now. Nothing in life compares to the pain you feel, when losing a
parent to cancer. I feel your pain bro. With time you will become a
stonger person, because of it.
