reporters are already asking about steroids. apparently they were present in the home but were all prescribed legitimately. reporters are asking the DA and sheriff's dept if the steroids put him in a "state of mind" to commit these crimes and take his own life. get ready for another shit storm of aas in the press and how they caused all this.

While it's true they do not cause this, they certainly dont help either

Another reason why it wouldnt be a bad idea to make them legally available under strict medical supervision, as in also by a psychologist

oh jesus, turn on fox news. ROID RAGE. doctors experts, shit is getting really deep. i wanna puke

just fuckin wonderful, there went the prices:ac:ion-sm :action-s: :sport-smi

all in all it is just so sad about his wife and poor child.

Somethign was wrong inside of him before drugs and all of that.....too bad nobody saw him hurting and didn't try and talk to him or help....nobody problably reached out to him cause he was big bad Chris Benoit and thought he could "handle it"......now its too late....I wish he could have taken a little more time to think about it before he acted......

My question is how many times has something like this happened where tehre were no steroids present to when they were??

I would saw there are many many more instances where they were not present at all.....

This is bad timing and great media fodder......fucking media......

They would rather talk about Paris Huilton all day then have stories of people making a difference i our society......what has happened to us and our society?? Its fucking sad.....

media hype

well now this little fiasco should elevate steroids to the death sentence category. too bad the media is allowed to run thier mouths off before the facts are known. might as well read the tabloids, probably more accurate.

In the famous words of Charlton Heston. "IT'S A MAD HOUSE--A MAD HOUSE!!" :(

Wow

It says that investigators are checking into whether steroids played a role in this crime. How will they do this? Who will they interview? this should be a circus act.

I need to move to some other place far away. This is going to be really stupid.

This guy was on a lot more than just AAS, I bet they find RECS/Coc/Meth or somthing like that.. he was acting way to crazy.

The prosecutor said he found it "bizarre" that the WWE wrestling star spread out the killings over a weekend and appeared to remain in the house for up to a day with the bodies.

i hear ya. i look forward to answering a ton of stupid-ass questions at work this week and getting those nasty looks from everyone who watched the news because i am heavily muscled which means i'm ready to kill at any moment and i'm very dangerous  meanwhile i just got done watering my flower garden and am playing with my 2 chihuahua's :D i am a very very dangerous man :p

I was having lunch with my mom today and she said whats the deal with this chris benoit guy??????? I said all i know is that he died and they're conducting an investigation..... and she said He must be on steroids. So then i went off and gave her more insight on steroids and she said why are you so defesive for????  STUPID MEDIA

LMFAO ..... GRRRRRRRR!

My girlfriend told me sometimes I get a crazy look in my eyes and she wanted to know if I would ever do something like that...I told her steroids don't make you a killer. You have to be fucked up in the head in the first place...otherwise the jails would be filled with bodybuilder killers on death row.

Interesting how the media is playing off the release of information. Before they where showing glamour/modeling shots, now they are showing more action/wrestling/violent shots. Anything to boost ratings. It is disgusting. We should all pray for the lil boy and his mommy and the family.

I am officially taking up golf right after I lose 50 pounds. :(

"-Fox News anchor Smith then summarized the press conference and what it reconfirmed or revealed. He said he missed "one of those PPV things the WWE folks do." He added: "We have reason to believe he was a steroid user." He said steroids were present in the home. "With a doctor's prescription - you bet - but they were there." He discussed the situation with reporter Trace Gallagher regarding "roid rage." He wondered how long it can go on and how long it can last. "We're look at three separate incidents of roid rage over the course of three days," said the reporter. Dr. Steven Garner was interviewed. He said roid rage can cause such incidents. He said there are very few documented cases, but there are strange stories related to steroids. He said, "There people develop psychosis and that's a total break with reality. They don't know what they're doing. They halucinate. They don't know what they're doing. They hear voices in their heads telling them to kill people." He explained that once a user get off steroids, his testicles cannot return to producing testosterone at a normal level and depression can result - leading to suicide with teenagers. A former homicide investigator was interviewed next. He said he has been on scenes where he's seen people trip out due to steroids. "They get this unbearable strength and they seem to lose their mind," he said. "If they drink alcohol at the same time, it adds to it. It's taken about six or seven officers at scenes I've been at to hold a guy down who was flipping out from roid rage." Smith said: "Think about this guy. This guy's sitting in his house with a dead wife, then he's got a dead kid, then he's dropping Bibles all over the place. Then he's killing himself. You can't even process that." The doctor said steroids mixed with other prescription drugs make it much worse. They went on to note that "60 wrestlers" have died under the age of 45. "It's astounding. Astroniomically astounding. Nobody really focuses on it because wrestling is kind of a circus, an athletic soap opera. We don't really care about the players, apparently, because this is a continual cycle or drugs, road shows, alcohol, and they're travelling 250 days a year. The more wild your show is, the more money you make. That in the end turns out to haunt you. The doctor said typically wrestlers take more steroids than their should. Reporter Trace Gallagher and Shep Smith agreed that WWE is "under the fence." They brought up the HBO Real Sports interview where Vince McMahon got mad at the subject being brought up. "I know it's entertainment and it's not regulated the same way professional athletics are, but somebody is going to pay hell if this turns out the way we think it is."

i could be wrong but, i thought that many of the wrestlers who were involved in the probe about the florida bust were still being investigated.. so.. i would not doubt (or would hope) that chris might be clean to avoid any test that might be requested.. who knows.. but, i would be laying pretty low if i was still being investigated.. so.. he might be clean of gear.. last time i saw him (i am not a avid watcher of wrestling) he looked down a bit in size from the past.. di they say when the toxicology report would be done?.. i missed the halluciations.. when does that start?.

Exactly. I just started watching it now, and it makes me sick. All these so called experts, and most is pure speculation.

WWE HAS SAID THAT CHRIS TOOK A BLOOD TEST IN APRIL OF 07 AND IT RETURNED BACK NEGATIVE.. HE WAS DUE FOR ANOTHER TEST COMING UP SO MAYBE.. JUST MAYBE.. HE WAS OFF WHEN THIS TOOK PLACE.. EITHER WAY THE PRESS WONT RECANT THEIR FALSE REPORTING AND TWO INNOCENT PEOPLE ARE STILL DEAD..
