Frustrated. I’m frustrated with my workouts (both intensity and frequency), with my diet, with my jiu jitsu, and with my lack “out of the gym/off the mat’ supplemental training/stretching. I have clearly defined goals and I have the knowledge and a plan on how to reach them. For instance my fitness goals include both a strength component and a physique component. Specifically, my physique goal is to reduce my bf% from 15% to 10%. Yet despite having a clear plan to reach this goal I simply don’t follow through. I know I need to run/swim/ do cardio daily to reduce my bf% yet rather than run or swim or train jiu jitsu I’ll take a nap, watch tv, read… Fuck!!! So then I ask myself “do I really want to reach my goals? Are my goals reasonable???” And the answer is a resounding yes!
What else??? My goals are in writing, I look at them every day, I journal on my progress and my struggles, I even have a daily check list… I don’t know what else to do other than simply get off my ass… But I just don’t feel like it… I’m not depressed (I’ve examined that as well)…
So I’m f’ing frustrated with myself.
Please help.
