I was squatting yesterday and i think i fucked my back up. Im lookin for experienced opinions, tell me what you think.
I usuially hit 405 for a good 5-6 DEEP reps (im talkin sitting on my fuckin hams). Posted a question on DCs board and he suggested i lower it slower and pause for a split second at the bottom. DAMN did that make a difference(felt so much better on the muscle during warmup sets also). In short, i started failing around rep 4 and guess what, spotter didnt do jack shit! I started leaning foward cause i couldnt help it, finally got it up, racked it, sharp pain in my lower back. 3 guys ran over cuase they saw it n asked if i was ok. All my spotter could say was SORRY! I was pissed. My back was tight all last night and i could barely sleep. Couldnt find a position where it didnt hurt, finally it went away slightly n i fell asleep. Today its still bothering me no matter what i do. Walking, sitting, etc. Only thing that helps is improvising a lordodic(sp?) support in my lower back. Its not KILLING me today, but it hurts. Im thinkin if i go easy on it for a while, itl prolly just go away. Feels spinal, not muscular pain. I know what a sore lower back feels like from deadlifts, this aint it. What do you all think?
