I tried every form of supplemental garlic, but it did nothing for my BP or CHOL
However, when I started eating raw garlic it reduced my BP, but much more dramatically was I never got sick during the year I was doing it.... but the smell is overpowering and it's not a breath issue ... after there is enough in your system it will come out your pores and when you exhale it will come from your lungs.
I've read a lot about this over the years and apparantly the beneficial compound (Allicin) cannot be preserved when removing the odor. The Allicin causes the odor.
All that said, I had to discontinue b/c my wife couldn't stand it.
Raw or real garlic cooked in food is highly beneifical for BP and immune, but you will literally drive people away unless they eat garlic too.
I have been eating it throughout the course of my prep. Mincened garlic raw I love it! Tenny, posted how he eats it during his preps just for added flavor. I have read that acllin other than bp, and antibotic it also helps with fat lose. I have my wife eat it too so we don't offend each other. Can't say if it works or not but it tastes great, my bp is low, haven't been sick and am single digit lean.
It definitely helps me when im feeling a cold or allergy onset...I take a whole clove, cut it in half, put a bunch of slices in to it, then pop it and drink plenty of fluid because it dries you out big time, mucous gone, and skin will get dry...I do the above 3 times/day.....and then once a day when im feeling better....
