gh-related carpal tunnel

Started gh about 3-4 months ago and the carpal tunnel came on fairly quickly and keeps getting worse. Now, its hard to sleep as I keep waking up with dead hands. My left hand is numb almost 100% of the time. Any hints/advice as to how to alleviate this?

I've worked my way up to 5iu from 2iu. I started developing symptoms around 3iu. Are you saying I should go back down to 2? Is it something that will reverse itself or is surgery my only option?

Mine got so bad awhile back I had to get off for 2 weeks and then started back at 3 times a week. Now I am back to every day at just 2ius a day. I have no problems. I found if I go 3ius a day or more then my hands pay the price.

I would def. drop it down to 2. That's my 2 cents anyways. Are you doing ED or EOD? Maybe you could change the scheduling your on. Some of the other more experienced users of GH here can offer other routines. But if it were me experiencing those symptoms, I'd def. drop it down to a tolerable dosage.

Tyler,

Green or blue tops ?

Those are some strong sides at 5 iu's per day...

Drop back down to 2 iu's and slowly work your way back up again

chris

I started with blues (ak), switched to greens (ghps), and am now back with blues (ghps). I've noticed this issue with them all.

I agree with the others in saying drop your dosage. I had same problem...however, it subsided after about 6 weeks without dropping my dose. It's a real problem with sleep...waking up in pain and all...I also worked on a computer and had to shake out my numb hands every minute.

IGF causing hand-numbness?

I've read several posts here on others experiencing "carpal tunnel-like" symptoms from GH, but nothing related directly to IGF. It could be that the IGF release from the GH is the culprit for the numbness. In this case, it makes sense that straight IGF can cause the numbness.

I'm currently on 20mcg of both IGF-1 DES 1,3 & IGF-2 LR3 and I'm experiencing hand numbness in my left hand only. These dosages are well within the norm, but I've read the DES version is up to 10x stronger than regular IGF. If the numbness is related to the IGF DES - I guess I got the real stuff...

Anyone experience anything similar on IGF?

Never got those sides with IGF, only with GH.

i work construction, so may hands always hurt, and i have a metal plate in my right wrist so, no carpal there ;)

im hoping i dont see these sides, but im only going up to 4, at 2 now, so far so good, when did you all notice this? how far in?

You definitely need to lower you dose.
As for gauging your GH being legit by CTS side effects, thats not going to tell you anything. However, you can use a glucose meter to verify if you have GH.

I have no idea lol, but my best guess would be that since gh at high doses causes insulin to not work as well.. if you shoot 10iu of gh, your blood sugar levels should be pretty high.

I got rid of this side and almost all the others by using GH EOD. Problem solved. Some may disagree, but it works for me and I have tried all the protocols.

Glucose meter? You have to get an IGF-1 test or send the product in to get tested. I wish it was that easy.

You do know that GH stimulates the release of IGF-1? No?
IGF-1 shuttles aminos and glucose to muscle cells...reducing blood sugar.

You have to take a blood glucose reading first thing upon waking. Do not eat anything. After you get your first reading, take a 4iu injection of GH. Wait roughly 30 minutes then recheck your blood sugar level. The spike from the IGF-1 should have dropped your blood sugar level for the second reading.

The carpal tunnel is a tube that runs from the forearm to the wrist. bone formation three walls of the tunnel and a large solid ligament bridges over them. The syndrome is characterized by pain, weakness and paresthesia in the median nerve distribution of the hand.
