I started taking it today, has anyone had any experience taking it? I’m 43 and in the last year or so I’ve had sore knees, shoulders and elbows. Just wondering what everyone else thinks.
TAKES a good 2 to 3 weeks to get in your system and working. but had 2 surgeons wanting to scope both shoulders. ran it for 2 months and felt great. but it came back so i ran it for 3 months and had no problems for almost 8 months. fixen to get right back on.
my surgeon works out of a university hospital in nyc and they do a lot of research and he told me they have been unable to prove that any new cartilage growth results from glucosamine in humans. in other mammals such as rabbits glucosamine actually causes damaged cartilage to repair itself. they don't know why this is not the case in humans. however he did say that he believes it will keep the existing cartilage healthier than if you didn't take it.

Thanks for the responces guys. I've had to give up certain exercises (lateral is one example) due to joint pain. I can still squat fairly heavy but I need to really watch foot position, if my stange gets too wide, really feel it in the knees, hack squat for some reason are the worst exercise on my knees?
