Help Planning First Cycle

I recently decided that I would like to do my first cycle, probably sometime in early September, but I don't really know anything about gear.

Some background info:
20 years old
6'0", 190lbs
started lifting 5 years ago for sports, 2 years ago I started lifting for BBing
definately done growing, havent grown an inch in 7 years

I've read that test is what should be run for the first cycle, but that is the extent of my knowledge. From reading other posts on this forum it seems that there are both test e and test cyp.

What are the differences between the two, and would one be better for a first cycle?
What dosage should be used and how often? (I've read about 350mg a week is good)
How long should a first cycle be? (10-12weeks?)
What else should be taken during the cycle and after for pct?
Should I do blood tests before, during, after the cycle? Should I let doctors know im on test?

Thanks in advance for the help. Feel free to link me to any posts or articles that you feel would helpful. Im new to this forum and havent had much luck finding useful info

i post on another forum about that. they dont allow discussion of gear thats why i came to this forum. to learn more.

i dont really understand why this is such an issue.

like i said i just joined this forum yesterday. i havent posted about training or diet because as of right now i dont have any questions about them.

For training I work out 3 days a week, Sun, Tues, Thurs.
SUN- Chest, Tri, Abs
TUE- Legs, Shoulders, Traps
THURS- Back, Bi, Lats

For my diet I eat 3200 cals when bulking, 2200 when cutting(for the most part. Generally around a 40-30-30 split between carbs, fat, and protein. those numbers differ slightly when im cutting, as ill cycle between slightly higher and slightly lower carbs days.

is the attitude im getting because you guys think im some guy who's new to lifting and just wants to find a shortcut so i can avoid lifting hard and keeping my diet in check? because i can assure you that is not the case
 
You don't have any questions about diet or training? That is your problem, AAS will not work witout doing them right first. Post everything in detail, that tells me nothing, what you listed. Also, pictures would help alot.

as of right now, no i don't have any questions. i spend time reading articles about diet and nutrition when i dont understand something.

in terms of training,

For chest, tri, abs day I do:

Flat Bench Press(alternating btwn barbell and dumbell weekly)
Incline Bench Press(alternating between dumbell and barbell)
Flat Bench DB fly
/Triceps cable pulldown
/Skullcrushers
//Cable Crunches

For legs, shoulder, traps:

Squats
Leg Press
Standing calf raises
/military press(alternate btwn barbell and dumbell)
/lateral DB raises
//shrugs

For back, bi, lats:
bentover barbell row(DB rows evert 3rd week)
deadlifts
seated cable rows
DB curls
lat pulldown

for the compound exercises I do a 4 week split:
Week 1: 3x3
Week 2: 5x5
Week 3: 5-4-3-2-1
Week 4: 10-8-6

for non-compound exercises I generally stick with 3x8, but will drop to higher weight lower reps about once a month


DIET
right now I am cutting so Im eating about 2100-2200 calories per day

sample diet
MEAL 1:
2 cups oatmeal
3 eggs
1 slice american cheese
2 strips turkey bacon
1 scoop protein powder in water

MEAL 2
8ozs of turkey or chicken breast
1 slice wheat bread with PB
1.5 ozs lettuce with 1TBSP low fat italian dressing

MEAL 3
1 scoop protein powder in milk
1 can tuna
2 ozs of almonds
4 ozs chicken or turkey breast

those obviously change from day to day but those are generally the foods I eat and the meals I eat them at.

when Im bulking its just more of the same. generally I eat a lot of chicken and lettuce wraps while bulking

yes, really. I hit 6 feet in 7th grade, and stopped growing. I used to play center in basketball and was really good until everyone caught up and passed me. now I dont play anymore. I know that's not the case for most people but thats what happened for me.

OK, seems like I read that wrong. I thought you meant you haven't put any muscle size on. Seriously, you need to know how to eat correctly for muscle growth. I would save the money on gear and hire a trainer to teach you how to eat correctly. If you go with that diet and do gear, you will not get the results you think. Everything starts with proper nutrition and you have to learn that to look a certain way. I use Alex Azarian. Shelby, Phil, Mountaindog and Magnum are also good choices.

just wanted to make sure you saw that I am currently cutting. I would obviously be eating much more were I to be on gear.

I follow pretty closely to a 40/30/30 carb, fat, protein diet, while keeping saturated fat low and sodium in check. I make sure to get 1g protein per pound LBM.

I used to eat like crap before I knew anything about training. Once I started reading about nutrition and eating better, I began gaining more muscle.

From everything Ive read, you should be getting cards from complex sources such as ostmeal, whole grain rice, potatoes, etc., fat from unsaturated sources, and protein lean meats which is what I do. I guess Im just not understanding why you seem to think my diet is so bad.
 
Johnny, this forum isn't bodybuilding.com. If you spend more than ten minutes here you'll quickly realize there's not a bunch of 140 pound 17-year-olds asking if they can eat cake as long as they "work it into their calories."

The guys in this thread jumped on you because you came here and didn't even read the sticky for forum rules. When you go to any forum you're supposed to read the rules before you post. But when you come to a forum like THIS and don't do it, you're probably going to get under some people's skin. Doesn't really get under my skin; I'm just trying to explain to you why people reacted that way.

From the list of rules:

Do not ask us to set up a cycle for you. We do not know enough particulars about you, your activity level, body composition, or nutritional and rest habits to give you adequate advise. DO THE RESEARCH, then post your proposed cycle and let us critique it.
