I have read plenty of threads here about gh and blood sugars. It is pretty much accepted now that gh does in fact raise BG. My question is: as someone who is starting their first gh cycle for a 16 week contest prep, when does one have to worry about insulin sensitivity? Moreover, how does one recognize they are becoming insulin resistant from hgh use?

I am running 5iu ed and no silin with the diet.

Well lets assume I was doing more or doing it for a longer period of time. Them what?

I have always suffered from hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) GH has virtualy elimanated that making it much easier to stay on a low carb diet,
As far as insulin is concerend be extremly cautious especially if you think ur becoming resistant to it and need to up your dose. We all react so differently to slin I can take 3iu and go danerously hypo and of course the carbs it takes to offset that screws up my diet. I dont compeat anymore so I dont mess with slin.
Get your self a glucose meter if u dont allready have one and use it religously.
I always liked those glucose tablets they are a bit spendy but saved my ass a few times. I still feel slin is to risky dont mess with it, just my opinion!

I use humanoforte while on hgh it improves insulin senitivity

Yes 5 iu for long periods is a something to be concerned about. But if you keep an eye on it by testing it at least you will know how elevated it is.

Just test fasted blood glucose. Even 10 iu Riptropin doesn't raise mine if diets clean. A lot of it is genetics to though as I've always had real good insulin sensitivity and been able to pound the carbs. In a pre contest diet insulin sensitivity will be sky high anyway unless your genetics are loaded against you so you should be fine. If you eat high gi carbs and vein up with no bloat and feel energised with no crash later it's a good sign sensitivity is good too. Cinimon with all your carb meals can help. I do count the carbs in Cinimon in my macros if cutting but not sure it's really neccasary too
