A lot of people think growth hormone must be AWESOME because it contains the word "growth".
But it may help preserve muscle in certain situations but it isn't anabolic alone. It needs the presence of insulin to be anabolic and testosterone to be significantly so...
To maximize fatloss the presence of insulin is not desired.
So is GH a waste? It depends on your protocol & how you use.
You told us nothing about yourself or how you would use it and yet asked if it was a waste. I took all of the things I know about you and in sarcastic fashion tried to illustrate that the answer depends on
your specifics.
Are you a young man or an older guy? This matters because if you are older you will miss GH and restoring at least to youthful levels will be very beneficial. If you are a young man then you don't miss GH because you already have it.
Being from North Georgia tells me nothing about whether GH would be a waste. Your registration date & post count are meaningless as well.
What is important is your sex & age (and current hormonal profile).
What is important is how you plan to use it, with what compounds, with what protocol, for how long and for what purpose.
Now do you understand why GH is a waste for the 90% who have the attention span of a gnat and wonderful for the 10% that take the time to figure out how to incorporate it into their protocol?
