How To Eat Over 7,000 Mostly Clean Calories In A Day

Does dexa and other scans count water weight as lean body mass?
DEXA for body composition looks at three things:
  • Fat mass
  • Visceral fat
  • Bone mineral content (basically weight of skeleton)
  • Lean mass
It works via x-ray so lean mass is actually muscle fiber, water, and glycogen. I'd suspect lean mass also includes intramuscular fat.
 
DEXA will count water retention as LBM.

Again, a big part of being able to do this is simply training your body to do it. I've eaten this way for years so I sleep well at night with all that in me. @concreter did the same thing for his last meal - all the fun food he wanted then off to bed.

I'm the same. I can eat a shit ton of what ever and sleep good

I wish I knew that answer. I struggle with what I perceive to be adequate soreness after my workouts and it makes me wonder if I’m not putting enough into it.
 
I still have times where I finish a workout, head to the locker room, and think, 'How / why do I do this to myself?'.
I’d be concerned if any guy who does train like this doesn’t think that after every brutal leg workout. Lol

I know I sure as hell do as I am hobbling around the rest of the day. Then you wake up the next morning and remember “I love this shit”. 😂

hmm.. the next morning after legs i am usually in so much pain trying to sit down on the toilet to take my shit that i rather think "i hate to shit" xD

But you’ve got some sleep and it’s that DOMS level of sore. For me it’s feeling that when I go for my morning walk. It’s how you know the job was done.

I’ve never seen someone over train legs- maybe someone here can prove me wrong because I have tried. 😂

me neither. and legs can get away with quite a bit of volume + intensity.
 
I respond to high volume on legs. Now that my knee is better, at 30 sets total, but will probably do some more. Even at this age, I don't want skinny legs.

How do you feel after a leg workout and the next day?
 
Why be 290 if you have to live off bars and snack cakes? You’ll probably die of some type of PVD or a MI before you’re 60.
I say that out of genuine concern.
The top mass monsters stopped eating like this years ago.
Go look at Walker’s cream of rice and nut butter with plain chicken, cbums off-season meals with potatoes/EVOO, Evans salmon and veggies..
Even Ronnie didn’t eat like that, only put sweet baby rays on the boring stuff.

I’ll raise you, my clean* diet at the peak of my last bulk.

120g quick oats
60g raw honey
6 large whole eggs
250g grapefruit
1 Blueberry bagel

1 Scoop Whey Iso
1 scoop Collagen powder
3tbsp psyllium husk

Pre-Sleep (11p/20c/2f)
8oz Low Fat Kefir

Comes out to approximately
6800 calories, 450 protein, 800 carb, 135 fat
Zero bars, zero premade/packaged products, 130g fiber.
A little high on protein because I struggled with healthy carb sources at that amount myself
that looks amazing! i could eat that way! and likely feel pretty good.
that first diet daniel posted man id be uncomfortable and shitting my brains out i think... def be bloated.
